Catalina L.C. Goodwin is originally from Mount Pleasant, Texas. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2017. Ms. Goodwin graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 2020, where she was an Authorities Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and the Vice President of the Federalist Society. Ms. Goodwin worked as a law clerk for one year before joining the firm as an attorney.
Ms. Goodwin’s practice encompasses a variety of criminal defense work, including death penalty cases, white collar crime, drug offenses, and sexual assault. She practices at both the trial court and appellate level, and has worked on briefs to the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She is currently admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Ms. Goodwin is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Hamilton Burnett Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and the Federalist Society.
